EVERY other app's push notifications, like Instagram, work! When I upgraded to the 6s , I assumed that the problem might be solved.... Facebook has not been helpful in responding, so could sometime please let me know what I can do?The good news is that i OS offers the ability to manage notifications for specific apps or, in the case of Mail, even specific accounts. This flexibility allows users to effectively hide all traces of incoming emails — e.g., the unread email badge, new email notifications — while still maintaining full access to the i Phone and on-demand access to email. But this constant contact and expectation of 24-hour productivity has also introduced new levels of stress.
edit: It just showed me I have 4.000.000.000 unread Mails, lol Source What’s the fix?
I have spent hours at the Genius Bar, on the net, asking friends, etc.
ALL settings have been turned on and off on the i Phone 6, and I even restored as a new phone, going through great pains to try and get push notifications and badges to come back.
One solution for dealing with intrusive work emails is to simply hide the mobile devices away, or shut them down, during off hours.
But this isn’t practical for the millions of employees who use these devices for both work and personal communication.
